Was a major character killed at the conclusion of season 36?

In a shocking twist, Finale of The Simpassons season 36, titled "Astronger Things" has left fans again with a clear death of Marge Simpson, one of the main characters of the show. This episode makes a 35 -year jump in the future, which reveals the fate of The Simpson family as adults. During this flashforward, Lisa (voiced by Eyardly Smith) and Bart (voiced by Nancy Cartright) are shown, while her mother, Marge (voice given by Julie Kevner), has passed away. In the point of view of this future, Marge sees his children from heaven, filled with happiness because they eventually reconcile. Interestingly, he is depicted as marrying former Beatal Ringo Star in former life. Meanwhile, Homer Simpson (Voice by Dan Castlenetta) is still alive. Although the episode aired on 18 May, it was not until the days when the social media exploded with surprisingly reactions. Tweets such as "Marj Simpson dies" quickly spread over the entire platform in the new season of The Simpsons. But fans of the long -running animated series should not be nervous yet. There is no official confirmation that Marge Simpson is permanently dead in the main timeline of the show. He dies only in the future section of the episode, not in the current story. Fox has already renewed the simponsons through season 38, so there is too much time to detect its story before any real influx.

The episode also leaves Marge’s cause of death completely unexplained. With no specific details provided about how or when she dies, it's unclear whether this future vision is a hint of things to come or simply a hypothetical scenario. Still, the emotional weight of the moment adds unexpected depth to a show known for its satire and comedy.

For now, Marge Simpson remains very much a part of The Simpsons' present — and its future, at least until creators decide otherwise. As always with this beloved series, anything is possible
